Hesitancies: Poems
₹500.00
Hesitancies is Sanjeev Sethi’s fifth book of poems. He is in fine form: he broadens his gaze, looks deeper at himself and his settings. The timbre of a lived life follows his poetic trail. To read him is to recap a glimpse of the hand one is dealt with. His poems throb with edged sequences flirting with the savories of nuance playing footsie with the palette of possibilities. His inflection is irenic. He sutures the lesions with the fine thread of inventiveness. Hesitancies will hasp you to its interiority, urging you to seek oneness with its rhythms and residues.

Press Reviews
Sanjeev Sethi is a skillful poet adept at handling short lines, long lines, unexpected syntax, and enjambments. However, he is at his best, I feel, in poems that have a delicate, momentary touch, a fleeting impression or insight. This is an enchanting and fascinating collection. I look forward to reading many more poems by this poet.
Mandy Pannett, Sentinel Literary Quarterly, UK
Sethi’s verse is informed with verve and a rare vitality, and should appeal to even those who might not otherwise be readers of poetry.
Jug Suraiya, The Speaking Tree, The Times of India
A rare body of work by a great poet.
Ev Petgrave, Linden Avenue Literary Journal, USA
