Gunpowder in the Horizon
₹400.00
Saha writes in a state of stasis and ideological bankruptcy against which other Bengali poets and writers, such as Nabarun Bhattacharya or Subimal Mishra, moved their pens. Yet, in Saha’s poetry, anger is suffixed by a foreboding sense of loss instead of nostalgia and the desire for the return of the revolution. He describes helpless situatedness and a state of un-belonging to a city that appears too familiar yet strange and unknown.
